The tall Sahalla were Fallen.
Letting them go now meant purposefully inviting trouble down the line.
But it was also true they were protecting the Sahalla- hence there was a risk involved.
And whether Theo wanted to take it or not-
"It's best if we don't antagonize them," Emily whispered. "They've kept the Sahalla going despite the circumstances-"
Which was true and Theo agreed as much.
But it was also true these people were probably here for various other things-
What those things were- Theo didn't know.
He did have some guesses but- "Then I hope, you people will continue to protect the Sahalla?" He asked.
"That we will. It's a mutual you see. We need them and they need us."
A smug grin.
The very same Fallen who was so close to wetting himself moments ago, was showing that smug face again.
Theo sighed. "That's all. Hope you don't rot."
With that said, he turned his back and just walked out.
