"Good evening, father," The R.I said.
Rogers was flabbergasted.
A lot had happened.
He'd tried his best these last couple of days and- honestly, he thought he could reconstruct the R.I- Sizzy.
But-
But!
Never had he ever thought that the first thing Sizzy would say after waking up was- Father.
There was no way the R.I would be able to have any significant memories.
Actually, it wasn't supposed to have any memories at all. After all, this was a totally different unit just in the same enclosure.
Just built with the same blueprint, same specification without any modification or backup memories.
And yet-
Applause!
The R.I around the vicinity applauded.
And though Sizzy had a smile- Rogers didn't.
Because in that smile he saw something.
Something he couldn't have predicted before.
And something-
He should have.
"Who are you?" Rogers mumbled.
