Theo's father had woken up.
But there was a key difference.
"And he's been like this ever since-" The doctor said. "We couldn't save Ms. Laura." He looked down for a moment before leaving. There were far too many other people to worry about.
Laura was dead before she turned and after turning to normal, she stayed dead.
The same went true for almost all the people who'd died just before turning or suffered a critical wound whilst turning.
"Why did this happen?" Theo mumbled.
He knew why this happened.
But just because he knew didn't mean he could accept it.
A white room.
A cold white room with virtually no sound.
A patient was here, just seated on the white bed.
Virtually nothing was attached to his body but there were censors all over the bed, so the doctors knew exactly the condition of the patient- the condition of Rogers.
"Will he become normal?" Theo asked staring.
