Awkward.
Awkward, probably didn't do the feeling justice.
Not only did the man know Rin was lying, he probably knew a lot more about her than she knew about them.
She didn't want to touch the food.
The food in question was just a roasted deer- a fully roasted deer garnished with some sort of a black liquid. There was a thick white paste just next to the boar on a bowl. And a separate bowl filled with more black liquid.
The sweet-sour aroma made her mouth water. Her stomach almost let out a rumble but she controlled herself.
She couldn't just eat the food in a place like this without even- actually- 'IF they wanted me dead, wouldn't I be dead?'
Rin's plate was empty and there were no knives or forks or anything for that matter. Not even a handkerchief.
Salvador grinned- and tore a leg from the roast- putting it on his plate.
'Such strength…' Rin remained cautious but tried to touch the roast- 'Still warm.'
