That winter in the middle of the forest there was a boy sleeping in a pile of snow. There's a lot of snow piled up on his short white hair. there are carriage ruts and horse footprints on the snow beside the boy.

'Is this the end for me? I thought my parents loved me, but they dumped me as soon as they found out that I have absolutely no [Skill] that can be used in combat.'

This boy's real name is Hans Welton and he came from a noble family. The boy's father had the title of a duke and he ruled the northern part of the Asterion kingdom. The boy's father was named Fredic Welton and his mother's name was Jesse Verion, which later became Jesse Welton.

Hans's mother is the eldest daughter of the Verion family. His mother's father had the title of Viscount who helped the Welton family to develop the northern part of the Asterion kingdom.

Hans's mother and father met at a party held by his majesty the king as a form of respect to the Welton family who developed the northern part of the Asterion kingdom to be livable. They fell in love at first sight and finally decided to get married soon.

When Hans was born, his parents were filled with joy because they been blessed with a son. Hans's parents held a grand party to mark the birth of their first son. Hans was always spoiled by his parents until finally he was eight years old and ready for his blessing day.

Blessing day is the day when a child is eight years old, the child will be given a blessing by the gods and goddesses in the form of a [Skill] which is sometimes used to determine the future of the child.

On the day of Hans's blessing, he got three skills in the form of [Appraisal], [Material Storage], and [Experience Multiplier] which the three of them are completely unusable in combat.

Hans's father who knew about it immediately called some of his subordinates and told them something. Hans's mother could only cry and was carried to her room by the maids.

"Father! Why is mother crying? Is mother okay? I want to go see mother!"

Hans's father didn't respond at all to what Hans said and turned his face away from Hans.

"Hey! Let me go! I want to talk to my father and mother!"

Hans was carried by his father's subordinates and led away to a horse carriage that had been prepared in front of the Welton family's mansion.

His father's subordinates put Hans into the horse carriage and the horse carriage started moving towards the forest near the royal capital. The path that the horse carriage was stepped on is so bumpy and made the carriage keep jiggling and makes Hans scared.

When the horse carriage was in the middle of the forest, the door of the horse carriage opened by itself and made Hans fall from the carriage on a pile of snow.

Hans cries because he think that he has been abandoned by his parents because he doesn't have skills that can be used for combat. Because of the cold winter, Hans's tears slowly freeze and he couldn't crying again.

Hans got up and went to follow the direction of the horse carriage that brought him in the hope of returning to the Welton family's mansion. He continued to walk following the ruts of the horse carriage that had brought him to here. Even though the ruts are slowly disappearing due to the falling snow, he keeps walking.

Hans kept walking even though he had already lost track of the ruts that the horse carriage had made. Hans keeps walking aimlessly in the forest, even though he is very tired and hungry, but he keeps trying to keep walking.

Day and night kept changing, but Hans was still walking aimlessly in the forest. Hans even marked each tree he had passed by scratching the stone he found into the tree he was walking through, but he keeps ending up returning to the first tree he goes through, and that indicates if Hans is just walking in a loop.

'Why? Why do I always end up coming back here? Is this a cursed forest or something? I can't even raise my voice to call for help because my throat is so dry, what should I do?.'

Hans kept on walking again until he slowly lost his consciousness and ended up fainted in the middle of the forest.

There was the sound of someone walking on a pile of snow. There was a person who was seen wearing leather coat and the person saw Hans who was fainted.

The person approaches Hans and holds his hand. That person feels if Hans was dead because the person feel if Hans's hands are already so cold.

"Why was there a boy who was dumped in the middle of the forest like this? If only I had gotten here sooner, he would still have survived."

Hans suddenly coughs and the person was very surprised.

"Kid! You're still alive aren't you?! Hold on a little longer! I'll definitely save you!"

That person carried Hans and then the person ran at an unusual speed like lightning towards the outside of the forest. After exiting the forest, the person continued to run towards the outskirts of the capital and stopped right in front of an old building. The person brought Hans who was fainted into the old building.
