"COME HERE, OPEN THE DOOR!"
Nada's chest rumbled, many times she felt sweat dripping down her forehead. Many times she exhaled, out of fear, but didn't choose to give up.
"Has my mother gone mad?" Nada immediately slapped her cheek lightly. "Don't think like that, sounds weird, Nada." She continued who even felt strange with her words just now.
This is the first time that Bela has experienced something like this, because her body was entered by a spirit with a restless soul, perhaps? causing a tense situation because it was very scary.
"How do I calm my mother down? Gosh, I don't even dare to go out and face her."
Moreover, Bela's voice is very compatible with the voice of the 'creature' who when interacting with her has the same voice.
"GET OUT AND FACE ME, OR WILL I KILL THE BOY ON THE SOFA?"
"Daddy…?" muttered Nada, now her eyes were teary. She who had been away from the door was now closer to her.
"OK, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?"
"Nothing, come and face to face with me."
"THAT WAS NOT AN OFFER, BUT PART OF GIVING UP. GET OUT OF MY MOTHER'S BODY, OR I WILL DESTROY ALL THE MIRRORS IN THIS HOUSE?!"
"If you dare, do it."
Interacting with the 'creature' that possessed Bela's soul and responding to her every word was the most disgusting thing, especially since these creatures were now more free to speak and could say whatever they wanted.
Wait a minute, previously 'they' couldn't possess human bodies. But tonight… what happened? Or every time a new page appeared in a book that Nada found in the library, their power level increased?
Oh no. If so, those closest to her are in danger.
"FUCK, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW!"
(Wush) whoosh
As if there was a night wind blowing the entire surface of Nada's skin, suddenly there was a 'crack' sound as if something had fallen to the floor. She didn't know what she was thinking, but she was sure that it was Bela's body that fell to the floor.
In desperation, Nada gulped because now her throat felt like it was choking.
Maybe she was really scared but mixed with curiosity, Nada now unlocked the door and locked it. Then, she peeked a little and yes… she started looking at Bela's body which had fallen to the floor with her eyes closed.
"Gosh, mother!"
Nada opened the bathroom door wide, approached where Bela had fallen, and crouched down to gently pat her mother's cheek.
"Mom, mom wake up..."
"Mom, this is Nada. Come on, Mom, why?"
Both of Nada's eyes looked watery, after that she felt tears start to flow down her cheeks. "Sob, what's wrong Mom? Get up..."
Clenching her hands tightly, she started to move from the crouching position earlier, after which she tried and with all her might to lift her mother's body even though she was limping.
Nada walked towards where her father was also. However, she did not see where her father was.
Before she could question the situation, Nada put Bela on the sofa first. Removing the sandals from the soles of her mother's feet, after feeling that she was in a comfortable position, Nada began to turn left and right while looking for her father's figure.
"Dad? WHERE'S DAD?"
There was no answer, the sound of the soles of the feet was not heard. Normally, Nada could sense if there were people around her —who hadn't reached her sights yet—, but this time she felt nothing.
On nights like this, Nada shouldn't scream because it can disturb the neighbors' rest time. However, how could she stop herself from screaming while in this state?
More and more sweat dripped down Nada's temples, the anxiety, the fear, everything seemed to be getting bigger.
How could that be? Mike was the only person she cared about the most. No one loved him other than her father, Bela never loved her even though she had dared to promise in front of the priest to love the daughter of Mike, her beloved father.
Nada ran to every part of the house, of course, her running speed was very fast and she needed reassurance about this. Where is her father at? It must have something to do with what happened to Bela a few minutes ago.
"Ah yes cell phone, I have to call dad."
Now Nada has returned to her room. She explained every corner of the room, she was scared, and her hands were shaking.
Tried calling Mike's number, and…
Ring... ring... (phone call sound)
With a wink, he dashed out of the room and stopped at the floor barrier. She looked down, looking for the source of the cellphone's voice from the second floor of the house.
"DADDY?!"
Still wondering. Now her screams were hoarse with mixed tears. Her eyes are red, her nose is the same. She didn't want to lose Mike, NEVER.
Nada hit her chest, which felt tight as the call ended and she could see the light of her father's cell phone on the living room table, but of course, there was no Mike she was looking for.
"Father..." Nada fell to the floor, her legs went limp and now she looked like a pitiful woman, very pitiful.
Losing Mike wasn't a plan that would appear on the record in her life. No, and never will.
"You promised... you promised to take me out for a whole day tomorrow. I-I don't know how to live my life without you..." Nada's voice softened, sounded very deep and she was really sad.
Life without a biological mother becomes difficult because as long as she lives, the feeling of longing that bursts feel suffocating. And this time, she was abandoned by her father? A father who is always there loves, and gives everything just to see her happy.
"If there is no father, who do I complain to? Who protects and loves me? Who... who can make Bela's mother calm and not enslave me if you are by my side?"
Nada's tears fell harder and harder, she felt her chest hurt.
"DADDY, WHERE ARE YOU!!" Once again Nada shouted even though she was sure her voice was a bit muffled from screaming while sobbing.
No one answered, nor was there any sign of what had happened. Where's Mike? Where is the only light that Nada has? Now Nada looks like she's lost her way, she's getting a little dazed, she needs…needs someone to help her in this kind of situation. Whoever it is, please Nada.
"Daddy… where is dad…"
A strange incident that again Nada could not describe as a form of greeting to people who might ask her later.
Her tongue was dry, Nada felt compelled to look for Mike one more time. Hey, she just looked inside the house. Who knows Mike already realized who took something in her car that was in their garage, right?
Okay, come on, positive thoughts, please come up so that Nada's negative thoughts don't annihilate her brain.
