Gao Lin brought Qiao Mei deep into the mountains. Inside a cave, the Gao family had built a secret passage that led directly to the basement of the Gao family's house.
"I never expect such a place to exist," Qiao Mei said in shock.
"Back then, the first thing that the Gao family did when we moved here was to build a secret passage. This is so that in the event that the Gao family is ever framed or in trouble, all the Gao family members can escape safely. We've never had to use it though. Later on, it became a place where Gao Ming played many games of hide and seek," Gao Lin explained.
He had never expected the secret passage to come into use due to the Zhang family. Fortunately, Gao Ming had never told Zhang Yao about this place. Otherwise, Zhang Ping would already be here, demanding for an explanation!
