He was a person who hated any sort of trouble. Also, he did not know how to do things in a roundabout manner and did not understand the intricacies within. Xia Mao also never told Xia Zhe about these trivial matters, worried that he would take action which would affect the family's plans.
In the ward next door, Qiao Qiang and Xia Jun also heard the commotion, but they chose to ignore it and continued to play chess. The two of them should not need to be concerned about such a small matter. If Xia Zhe still did not take action, the two of them would reprimand him and dish out a proper punishment by asking him to go downstairs to run rounds around the hospital for an entire day.
