There were three ways to send things out of the village.
The first way was to tag it with the postman when he came to do a delivery. If the postman happened to come to the village to deliver mail, the villagers would ask the postman to help them bring out the things they wanted to send.
The second way was to wait for the end of the month if there were no deliveries for anyone throughout the month. At the end of every month, the postman would go around the village to see if anyone wanted to send anything.
The third way was to go personally to the post office in town.
However, it was inconvenient for Qiao Mei to move around now, so she could only wait for the postman to come by.
Unfortunately, it was a quiet month and no one in the village received any parcels. Qiao Mei could only wait until the end of the month to be able to send out her parcel and keep in touch with the people in the capital.
