"What's wrong? What happened?" a passerby stopped Sister Zhu and asked.
"Over there! Someone fell into the lake! On the shore! Pregnant woman! Save her! Quickly save her!" Sister Zhu gestured as she spoke. It had all happened too suddenly and she had run too fast. She could not even speak properly by now and could only pick the important points to say.
When everyone heard this, they all ran to the lake to help. Soon, the ambulance arrived at the shore. Xia Fang jumped down and rushed to Qiao Mei's side and looked at her nervously. She did a simple check to see if there were any external injuries.
"How are you? Are you feeling alright?" Xia Fang asked nervously.
"I… I still feel alright…" Qiao Mei said weakly.
"Stretcher! Stretcher! Someone get the stretcher!" Xia Fang shouted towards the ambulance.
The people inside used a stretcher and emergency supplies to move Qiao Mei into the ambulance and they quickly set off for the hospital.
