"It's very delicious. Looks like you have a talent for this!" Qiao Mei praised him with a smile.
Xia Zhe was relieved to see Qiao Mei eating the food heartily.
After dinner, they cleaned up the house and then went to bed.
For a few days, no one came to look for them. All their relatives and friends seemed to have left.
"What other fun places are there in the capital?" Qiao Mei asked Xia Zhe as she ate grapes.
"There's nothing really fun to do in the capital. Do you feel bored at home?" Xia Zhe said as he looked at Qiao Mei.
"Not really. I just want to walk around more and look around," Qiao Mei said.
"If you really want to go somewhere, we can take the bus. When you see someplace where you like the scenery, we can get off the bus and walk around," Xia Zhe said.
She thought that this was a good idea. Most of the sightseeing venues were already reachable by public buses. One could just get off at any station one wanted.
