"Daddy?" Surprised, Evan immediately called out, knowing who had come so early.
"Yes. We should have been here tonight. It's just that your Mom wants to leave here as soon as she finds out my work is done." Thus answered Jonathan before Evan asked the question.

"Mom," said Evan, reaching out to shake his Mother's hand.
"How are you, Stevan?" asked Puspa Ajeng, hugging Evan after receiving a helping hand from the child.
"I'm fine, Mom," Evan replied briefly as he removed the hug.
"Why didn't Father tell me the accelerated departure schedule here?" Evan asked a little curiously.
"Can I answer while sitting inside, maybe?"
