A few moments passed, but Evan did not get any response from Lia for what he had conveyed to the girl. Out of curiosity, Evan turned to the girl. However, he even found that Lia was daydreaming who knows what.
"Lia? hello?? Do you still there?" Evan asked softly, right in the girl's ear to keep the whisper audible but not startle her too much.
"Uh-huh? Sorry, pardon me? I... I'm still listen. Hehe," replied the girl stuttering a little when caught daydreaming amid their conversation.
"Are you okay? Why are you suddenly daydreaming? What are you thinking about?" Evan asked to the point.
"Oh nothing. It is nothing. By the way, about your two brother and sister ... do you guys still communicate often? Call each other or text each other maybe?"
"Yes, but not often and only when there is a need. After all, each of us is busy with our own business. So yeah... that's how it is," Evan answered bluntly, unable to hide his sad face anymore.
