In a blink of an eye to trees were all young again, animal were back to life (however Niloc was exhausted).
One day later, Niloc was all better. Steven continued, to train his basic attacks. During his training an old man gave him a sword made of living iron. The sword cannot take damage, it is unbreakable. At least it was the idea but it could take damage when not held by someone drawing their energy from them. many times it was needed to heal it but out of the many times it is used it was a diluent in energy attacks but steven was not told this he assumed it amplified his attacks it easier a training method. his attacks became strong enough where Niloc had a hard time fighting back with holding back. then it was told to him that it weakened energy attacks but increased physical ones.
"Okay so I'm not even at my full potential" Steven took a moment to process what he just learned. "So how can i train with swords I mean Xela is one of the best there is in both fields. And you Niloc are the highest ranking officer in this army your tactical knowledge is beyond belief also. long range energy beams seem to be your favorite. Or mind boggling illusions that I can't even tell difference being Black Fire one of my most sensitive senses Mack in my limited collection.
"It's okay we have Xelas only student he ever taught Sammi I call her that because the last time I saw her was when she was like seven years old. However I think she is right about 26 ish. So I hope you respect her because she can hold her own with Xela for a while well that's what Xela told me last time they trained together". Niloc trailed off as he looked up the hill that was next to the mansion that they were behind.
"Hello guys long time no see" said a lovely voice on the hill. "Hello-o can you hear me"
"Ah yeah, who are you miss?"Asked steven.
"Well I'm your new teacher… I'm Sam."
"Hey little girl" Said Niloc.
"I'm not little I have grown up you know" Complained Sam. She walked down the hill and looks at Steven at different angles touched the center of his chest and Steven felt a jolt. "This is what you give me to work with. Come on nothing better it would take years to train him to any amount of skill I don't know what Master Xela was thinking of".
"Master? huh, I thought we were friends" Said a voice from behind everyone.
"Xela" said both Steven and Niloc.
Sam started to cry " I thought you were fighting.
"I am but not right now he is too strong for me fight by myself but I managed to take out most of his troops." Explained Xela. Sam gives him a hug "Ow Ow that hurts I need some of the recovery team." He passes out and started to fall But Sam transforms into a mechanical looking being with a huge japanese style sword strapped to her back it also has a red light where her left eye would be.
"It's okay" Sam smiles "Recovery team now"! A bunch of small men and women come out of the highest window glide down and grow to above average size and carry Xela into the building so they could help him.
