Chapter 19 - CHAPTER 19 Losing His Humanity

Later in the evening of that day, Stefan got back to his residence and went straight to his bedroom without even checking out for his mum.

He laid down on his bed thinking of ways to fall asleep as early as he could, so he could have a practice routine with his guardian.

Today when he was with Marcel he felt bad for not confiding with his bro about his little secret, his guardian said when the time is perfect he can tell him.

With that thought in mind, he fell asleep and was shipped to the supreme land as his guardian calls it.

He found himself at the open province where they both had their previous spar.

"Are you ready to get another beating from your all-mighty teacher?" the guardian ridiculed.

"There is only one way to find out" Stefan said while taking a combat stance.

"There will be no weapons in today's activity" the teacher said with a stern voice.

BEGIN!!

The teacher was the first to ignite and attack with his heel coming from above and heading towards Stefan's head.

Moving to the left he was able to dodge the attack, but what he didn't expect was for the next leg to be arriving after the previous one reached the ground.

He was abrupt to use his forearm in preventing the kick that was heading for him.

Just with that one strike, he could already feel his hand throbbing with slight pain.

He felt kinda weak at that moment for a slight kick that wasn't even thrown with stress to make his arm throbbing.

Stefan now acknowledged that he shouldn't let his opponent touch him.

Lifting himself into the air about a few feet away from the surface of the ground, he concentrated his energy on his forearm, then threw a heavy punch to his competitor's face which was grabbed mid-air.

He tried freeing his arm from the hands of his competitor but all attempts appear unsuccessful.

Using Stefan's hand that was in his grasp, he threw Stefan backward within about 12 feet away from him, sending him crashing with force.

The force of the throw caused Stefan to roll for sometime before regaining his stability, with a little blood trickling from the side of his mouth which he wiped away.

Before he could get back up to his feet once again, a kick came to his back causing him to fall with his front.

"You are quite too weak to fight someone of my status" The guardian said while helping the kid get up to his feet.

"Good thing you know that this is bullying" Stefan said coughing lightly.

"Did you ever wonder where I came from kid, or how I'm able to perform these extraordinary things?" The guardian asked with a serious voice this time.

"Yeah I did, but I know asking you would be a waste since you can't even tell me your name" Stefan responded.

"For now I can't tell you my name, but I can reveal some of the things our kind can perform" The guardian said while motioning for him to take a seat, with that a chair materialized for him to sit.

"Now watch attentively" The guardian added with a grin.

Just like that he disappeared and appeared at the far latitude where one of the trees was located.

To Stefan what he just saw was instant teleportation, which left his mouth wide open staring at the monster that just performed this incredible feat.

In also a blink of an eye he teleported back to his prior point, with a satisfied smile after seeing how hypnotized Stefan was by his movement.

But the truth was he wasn't teleporting rather he was moving at a monstrous speed, faster than someone having a speed-related bloodline.

For the slight period he has been with Stefan he has discovered that he was a very difficult dude to impress, and even doe he was impressed he would not reflect it so others won't notice.

So for Stefan demonstrating that enthusiasm and also surprise on his face he felt delighted himself over a ridiculous thing.

"Since you said our kind, does that mean I would also be able to do that and what kind are we?" Stefan couldn't help but inquire for explanations concerning his interest.

He didn't even know when does series of questions left his mouth, but truth be told he was captivated by what he saw.

That's because for someone to have that high level of velocity you must at least be a master speed awakened or you are possessing a speed-related gear.

"Well, let's just say that I am not human but form a different race that humans think only exists as a myth" He said with his hand not leaving his like he was having a deep thought.

"If I am your kind as you claim, does that means that I am no longer human? Stefan asked with slight distress evident on his face.

" Exactly, you are no longer a mortal but an immortal" The guardian responded with a mischievous grin.

"I just lost my humanity and you are there grinding like a devil" Stefan screamed at him while panicking.

"With you having silver hair with other drastic changes didn't your little brain tell you something" He said while laughing making Stefan's anger rise even higher.

He then remembered the word his dad will always say during their father and son time, which says.

"WhenWhenever necessity arises for you to make a significant decision 'never' shy away from it" So his dad will say while stretching the word never.

Even as brave enough and repose, as he may seem to be, the news of looslosing humanity and becoming something else, was quite frightening.

"Like seriously who would forfeit his humanity unknowingly and will be still stone-cold steel without even showing any hint of fright" This was the kind of thoughts spiraling in his mind.

"I can see you are having a hard time comprehending what I just said" He asked with a curious gaze.

" I can't believe that the unbreakable Stefan that never shows his emotions is being frightened all because of losing his humanity" He added with a mocking voice while also keeping a straight face.

"I want to sleep over this realization, we can continue tomorrow" Stefan said with a low voice.
