I slowly spawn back to life the next day, surprisingly with no headache which I was thankful for and since we managed to finish our project, I had a little free time before starting on my other assignments for the rest of the weekend
'That was priceless, same time Monday?' I read the first message on my phone from Wintyr and quickly change his name to enemy #1 as the scenes of Cole coming into his room flashes back into my head 'Oh my god, I sat on Cole's bed' I realise sitting up quickly 'OMG OMG' I squeal screaming into my pillow
"WHAT WHAT WHAT?" Ruby rushes into my room quickly and I quickly pretend to lie down like nothing happened "Hey" I smile innocently "Hey?" She moves cautiously to my bed "Are you good from last night?" She touches my forehead "Of course, why wouldn't I be?" She shrugs removing her hand "Pancakes?" She asks and I nod quickly "Yeah please" She helps adjusts my pillows, instantly making me feel better "You stay here, I'll make you breakfast and we get some greys anatomy going for today?" She states excited and I nod at her plan "It's a date" She jumps up excited

Monday
"Hey nerds, mind if I borrow your friend?" Wintyr comes up behind Megan and Lily as we were stood outside a random classroom waiting for the break to end "Did this boy seriously just call me a nerd?" Lily asks us as if Wintyr weren't there
"Sure did" He replies to her rhetorical question making her scoffs with her nose flaring out "Gabriella?" He nods in the other direction for me to follow him "I have nothing to say to you" I shut him out not looking at him "It's got to do with something that happened that-" I quickly lift myself off the wall and stumble to Wintyr immediately knowing he was going to bring up about the party which I hadn't got round to telling them about yet cause well….how was I going to word, that somehow I ended up at a massive party then I ended up tipsy on Cole's bed with Wintyr? See it just sounded so wrong
"Guys, don't wait up for me, see you at lunch" I inform them then turn, pushing Wintyr in a different direction from where they were stood
"Pabo relax" He pulls back from me pushing him when we get to the same place we were talking when I saw him writing on a bench "What is it then?" I ask annoyed "Cause if you're going to torment me about what happened, I no longer care" "What even happened?" He asks acting dumb "You k- whatever, why did you pull me?" "I didn't pull you" I give him a deadpan look
"Fine fine" He holds his hands up "I just wanted to ask what Ruby's favourite flavour cake is?" He says casually and I blink twice trying to control my anger "Really? You were gonna ask me about my sister's favourite cake, like I know?!" "So... what is it then?" I scoff not believing how stupid this boy was "I don't know, chocolate..." I shrug but he winces "See my family don't do chocolate cakes, it makes my mum and my dog sick, so dad banned it" "Your dog?" My brows narrow as I don't remember seeing any doggy things at their house "Mhm it ruins Summyr's diet" My eyes roll as I realise he was referring to his sister and I turn to go back inside no longer interested
"What do you want?" I ask as I hear Winytr following me down the hall "Wait-" He quickly walks in front of me so I stop "What?" He swallows hesitantly then suddenly pushes me back against the lockers boxing me in so our faces were now inches apart
"What are you doing?!" I whisper scream holding his chest as far away from me as possible unconsciously getting a feel of his toned body yet again "Look behind my left shoulder" He whispers moving his head to whisper in my ear "What do you-" I look over his shoulder then stop talking, swallowing hard air that entered my airways
I was now looking at Cole Lopez staring at me and Wintyr, unaware I was watching him right back, his fists were slightly balled but then again it may just be caused by the other jerks laughing and punching each other
"That's just a coincidence, he's not even looking here, stop with your childish games" I lie and finally push him off me, fixing myself as I peak at Cole who was no longer looking here anyways "Finally" I breathe out not even realising I was holding my breath "Coincidence or does your crush have a crush on you too?" I raise my hands at him making him flinch "You perv, you nearly touched my privates" "I'm sorry baby" He says in a pretend lovey voice but I smacked his hand away from me. He, however, smoothly moves his hand to his hair roughing his hair up as if I didn't just reject him
"You really are my worst enemy" I snap at him "Truly" He nods his head smiling like a little kid "She likes red velvet, okay, like a lot" I remember and stand straight ready to depart from him immediately "Pabo, you are the best" He says holding his thumbs out then turns towards his friends "So annoying" I murmur under my breath as I see him catching Cole's head in a headlock and fist-bumping the rest of his friends 'Surely Cole wasn't looking at us, I mean why would he? Stupid Wintyr for making me think I have a chance with him' I angrily turn around marching to my next class

"Hey, you're home late" I drop my bag tiredly waving at Ruby "Yeah, I hung out with my friends cause Megan was feeling down" And if you were wondering no, I still haven't told the girls about Friday night "Oh cool" We walk up the stairs and I notice a beautiful black dress fitted on her amazing figure "Woah, where are you going?" I ask when we get to the top "Wintyr invited me out to a dinner thing with his family cause his date cancelled" She explains and in my head, I instantly knew that his little date thing was a lie cause who else would go for the idiot himself
'Well girls are line up for him in school Gabby, but whatever'
I was getting annoyed thinking of the boy himself so I focus back on Ruby who was still explaining where she was headed "I'm really scared though, I've met his parents briefly before and obviously, Summyr will be there but like his whole family including Roman and Xavier, those men are so hot" She crushes making me smile 'So she does admire Asians' I note observing how she awed
"You look really nice" I say happy for her…maybe Wintyr didn't need me after all.....
"Thank you" She looks down at her phone as it brightens "He's here, I'm gonna go, bye see you later" I wave at her and wait for her to go down the stairs before going into my room 'Maybe I did get my hopes up on getting Cole jealous....I was actually starting to warm up to the idea' I smack my head 'No are you dumb Gabby? We hate Wintyr remember?' I frown sadly 'If I don't tell the girls soon, I'm going to go crazy'
