I awaken to the airline steward standing over me."Yes?" I say befuddled asking why this established lady remained over me with a harsh look all over.
"We landed ten minutes ago, we've been attempting to awaken you and you was snoring rather loudly!" She says in an irritated tone as my cheeks flush red.
"my apologies, I will get off now," I murmur as I stand up attempting to get my equilibrium equal feeling my ears popping left to right.
I get my Lightweight suitcase from over my seat and get up following the airline steward to the transport line, to get my bag.I know it's mine since it's pink and has strawberry shortcake stickers all over it, I've had it since I was five.
"Good God, Malory," Lily yells approaching me as I drop my sacks and embrace her."I've missed you, London girl!" She says grinning."Hey, I've missed you California girl!" I say embracing her."Come on how about we go!" Lily says skipping with energy, taking my sack from my hand for me leaving me with just my suitcases.
"Alright great, I thought perhaps I could prepare us a home cooked dinner we could do facials, watch a film oh my god dance to The hairspray Soundtrack!" I say grinning a wide grin as we stroll to her vehicle.
"About that Malory," she says looking at me like she's done something wrong and acting suspicious.
"What?" I question as interest fills my eyes that are looking at her.
"I need to leave for a few weeks."Lily says as I snicker."Stop playing around lily that is actually a major buzz-kill, not funny!" I say hitting her arm playfully.
"Mal I wasn't playing, my grandads been moved to another hospice they don't believe he has long I need to see him." She says sounding irredeemable as I sigh hopelessly.
I know in my heart the amount of a bitch I'd be in the event that I said "well lily you could've told me before I moved like 1,000 miles from London" however I would rather not rub salt in the wound."It's alright I guess I can search for work while you're away and watch hairspray myself." I say grinning as I get in Lily vehicle and we start to head back to her apartment.
"HA you should do that ha no doubt it's ugh great a great idea!" Lily says acting more odd then the typical indications of madness that she shows."What, for what reason are you acting so," I say halting reasoning of a word."skittish why in the divine beings name are you acting so skittish." I say folding my legs on the seat as if I'm doing yoga.
It's totally comfortable.
"Nothing I promise, I'm kinda bummed about having to leave you!" She says grinning at me as I lean over and embrace her while we are sat in rush hour traffic.
"It's alright, I get it your going miss me but while you're gone I can clean and wow adjust your shelf I've been eyeing it every time we FaceTime and god I want to do it in alphabetical order." I say becoming somewhat invigorated."Crap, I can't believe that I've really moved in with an eighty year old spinster librarian!" Lily says mocking me as I chuckle.
