Christopher's tears flow down even more after hearing Robert and an unfamiliar person's conversation.
He could clearly hear the two emphasize how he was a living burden to his mother and how she suffered simply because he existed.
He also could not believe that his mother and uncle were thinking about having their own child but were being held back because he was here.
"Hey. Are you crying?" Ginalou asked as she walked back towards Christopher.
She was running away just a while ago but chose to return after returning to her senses. She planned to scold and complain about how Christopher behaved in front of her, but the young duke was crying loudly once she found him in the middle of the maze-like garden.
"Why are you crying?"
She cautiously walked toward Christopher as she doubted that his crying was only an act to catch her.
