Everyone paused as soon as they could hear the gunshot through the forest.
Berto had taken the police with him and reported Luther kidnapping Mila.
They had reached the villa and didn't see any shadow of Luther or Mila, and ended up catching Luther's guard scattered around the forest.
Despite that, they couldn't find Mila and Luther yet.
"Let's follow where the gunshot came from!" one of the police shouted. They left half of their team to take care of the guards, and half of them walked toward where they heard the gunshot.
Christopher, who was following behind the police officer, clenched his fist while he tried to hold himself from running ahead first. Berto advises him and Ethel not to act before the authorities because it would only harm themselves and Mila, who they don't know about her current situation.
Berto sternly told them to stay behind the authorities and trust them to save Mila, especially since Luther has a gun.
