i liked to read novels for a while now. i even imagined myself getting transmigrated into different ones. it was the only strand of hope that I can cling onto to escape the bitter reality. I know that I might sound like a very typical teenager but I guess I couldn't help it. Having lost my parents at a young age and being stuck playing the role of an adult is not an easy task for a 16 year old. yes me and my 2 siblings were under the care of my uncle on the government papers. but we were treated like slaves and maybe even worse.we were not allowed to stay in our family home but we would have to come back and play "pretend" just so we don't get sent to an orphanage. thinking back about it now, maybe an orphanage wasn't so bad of a place after all.

the judge says as he strikes with the hammer to quiet down the noise of the crowd present.
as the judge says so Melody starts walking down the stairs with two guards accompanying her, one from each side. as she slowly works her way with shackles dragged behind her to the stage. as she reached it with all eyes around her she barely raises her hand due to the hefty weight of the chains. Then she starts swearing an oath
*I swear having the goddess power entangling my hear that I would not say anything but the truth otherwise I will be destined to a cruel death*
as she says that her it's obvious that her state is still and her head is held high with no expression appearing on her face.
*Good, now you shall resume to confess all the crimes you have committed. Otherwise, you may try to defend yourself.* the judge says so with a wicked smile on his face that not many could recognize it. but Melody was one of the few.
*I..I Melody Tonbal* she stops for a bit as she glances over to her two sisters direction. Having them standing next to their husbands and looking at her with a look of despair as if giving her the courage to go on and she proceeds to do so. She takes a deep breath to complete what she had started.
*I Melody Tonbal confess to murdering Khalid Liveit and Escaping the scene.*
as she says that she bites her lower lips trying to gather the remaining courage she had muttered to talk infront of all these people.
*what else do you have to confess to Miss Tonbal* as he says that, his smirk is clearly obvious to all those attending the court.
*I confess to .... stealing the funds of the company my cousins were working for. i stole it as they brought it home before they deliver it the next day as per requested from them.* as she said that her breath became heavier and her hear was about to pop out of her chest.
*As the suspect had confessed. I do not see a need to elongate this matter any further. the suspect was proven to be guilty and is to be executed tomorrow at dawn.*
as the judge muttered the sentence. Mel felt her limbs trembling and slowly getting colder. She did not dare look in her sister's eyes as she might get weaker and loose everything she tried to pr... to be continued
