Katyusha
"So you know it was around 13 years ago, when Kilos'kovich Konstantine began to send troops from Lyubovia west into Ubnvich," Hollow said and I nodded. "It is said that the whole royal family, even young Maynusha, went, and when they arrived, Maynusha ran away with a bunch of Ubnvichian singers."
"Yeah, but, what happened afterwards. Is she still alive?" I asked.
"Well, like I said, there's a bunch of different rumors about where Maynusha ended up next, some believing only one to be true and some believing them all to be true," Hollow said. "Like the rumor that Maynusha played in the World Cup, or that she became a business magnate down in my country."
"Business magnate?" I asked.
"Basically, she worked to become her own royalty," Hollow explained. "Or… more likely, it was given to her for some reason."
Hollow must've noticed that I began to lose interest. "There are a myriad of supposed pictures of her," He said, and my eyebrows flung up and I looked into his eyes. He pulled some folded papers out of his pocket and placed them on the table then sat back in his chair with his arms crossed. I picked up one of the papers and unfolded to see a woman that looked almost like me, but older. It was a little difficult to make out, it seemed like it was a picture of a picture rather than a first hand account, but it appeared as if the woman was sweating profusely and she gazed at the heavens with wide eyes and an open mouth as if she was catching her breath. I put the picture down and looked at Hollow again before grabbing another picture.
The picture showed a woman singing with a large feathery hat on, and it appeared to be the same one from the other picture, that resembled me so closely.
"That one is just a picture of her in Ubnvich before she disappeared, is it not?" I asked, pointing to the picture in my hand.
"Could be, besides the fact that the gown she's wearing is native to Ubnvich instead of Lyubovia, when the intent 'fix' the Ubnvichians." Hollow explained.
"So you're saying my sister was a traitor?" I asked and I noticed Hollow folding and interlocking his hands nervously.
"No… I'm sorry, this was a bad idea," Hollow said.
"No, I meant, eh…" I tried to fix my wording. "So she chose to stay with the Ubnvichians."
"No, she wouldn't do something like that," Hollow said. I think at this point, Hollow was done sharing with me, so I folded the paper in my hand.
"Can I… keep this?" I asked Hollow as he was collecting the pictures from the table.
"You probably shouldn't-" Hollow said. "Just try not to show uh, your mother, you know." Hollow scratched his head.
The glass door behind us opened, and Hollow's sister appeared from behind. "Hollow, it's getting late. You can talk to your princess girlfriend later." Hollow's sister said and I looked at her from the side. Hollow stood up and smiled at me before he left with his sister and I was alone on the balcony.
