"Tier-3..Dragon mage..."
'Jackpot' Dark shouted loudly in his mind.
"First of all I should give you a name."
"Thank you, my lord."
Dark deliberated for a longer time than during his alias or castle name.
After all he himself admitted that he didn't have that great of a naming sense.
"I got it, from now on you will be Egolas."
"Thank you for bestowing a name on me."
"Good now go out into the forest and hunt some wild beasts."
"Yes my lord!"
Having been given his first task Egolas answers in a vigorous tone before lifting off ground and flying directly into the forest in front of the castle territory.
Seeing Egolas off until he passed the transparent protection-barrier Dark headed to the last unexplored structure in his territory.
[Warehouse]
[The castle warehouse is responsible for storing all kinds of recourses and items. It's storing space is infinite, so as long as the castle heart is protected the lords items will be relatively secure.]

Looking at his empty warehouse Dark couldn't help but curse in his heart about how there is not even a single grain of food to eat and he is now completely dependent on Egolas having a successful hunt.
"By the way, did I specify to bring the beast carcasses back?"
"Well Egolas is a Dragon and dragon shouldn't be too stupid, I hope"
Just as he was thinking of Egolas and his hunt messages started to appear in front of Dark.
[Killed a Tier-1 Gray Wolf Energy +3]
[Killed a Tier-2 Big gray Wolf Energy +10]
[Killed a Tier-2 Big gray Wolf Energy +10]
[Killed a Tier-1 Gray Wolf Energy +3]
Accompanied by loud sounds of fighting messages about slain wolfs kept on appearing until there was a wolf group less on the continent.
Dark nodded in approval at Egola's efficiency, but then again he's a dragon at the top of the food chain, so forget the low Tier 1 and 2 gray wolves, not even a Tier 4 wolf would be Egolas opponent.
Brief moments passed since the surroundings calmed down and Dark could see Egolas returning with several wild corpses in each claw and his mouth.
"How was it, did you sense any strong presence nearby?"
Egolas hurriedly dropped the wolf corpses in his mouth to answer.
"No, my lord, there are no beasts in the immediate vicinity that could harm me. Of course there are several tier 4 and tier 5 beasts nearby, but none of them are my opponent because they are all lower species."
What Egolas said immediately attracted Darks attention.
Just as he thought, not only can higher grade units dominate lower grade units in one-on-one combat, but they can also fight and beat higher Tiered units as long as the grade difference is large enough.
"Let's look at the loot of Egolas first hunt."
[Multiple monster corpses found. Do you wish to dissect them?]
[Yes/No]
"Yes"
[+25 units Food]
[+1 Energy Stone]
[+13 Materials]
"So this is a Energy stone"
Ignoring the wolf claws, teeth and well-organized chunks of flesh in front of him, Dark instead looked at the marble-sized light blue stone in his hand and whispered softly.
"1 Energy stone after killing about 8 monsters, not bad."
"With this food I should be set for now, but others with weaker units or those not specialized in combat may not be able to feed their units, let alone themselves. I might be able to trade with them, since i'm missing other basic recourses."
Having made up his mind Dark used another function of the system for the first time.

Dark immediately selected the [Space Exchange] and set 20 units of food for sale.
[Food for sale]
[Exchange for: 20 units wood/ 10 units stone]
With no other food offering listed in the [Space Exchange] and having no idea what exactly 1 unit of food is worth, Dark sets the price without worrying that his food won't sell.
After all, there are just too many potential buyers with no sellers besides him.
Even a million more sellers may not be able to meet the excessive demand.
As for revealing his identity....
There are too many Lords and the world is too big to worry about showing your strength to others right now.
In fact should all lords decide that someone who can hunt for that much food right now is too strong to stay alive and all 4 billion lords attack him together, save for his immediate neighbors miraculously marching in the right direction, the rest would not even reach his doorstep before either starving or being eaten to death.
Even after Lords have evolved to the point of launching large-scale invasions, no one knows where Dark is.
Hell, he doesn't even know where he is.
After putting the food up for sale, Dark took one of his spare units for himself and planned to eat some grilled meat.
Meanwhile in the [World chat]...
[Wtf!?!? What the hell is going on here?]
[Hello!!! I ended up in a swamp, it stinks and there's a bunch of giant creepy crawlies wandering around in the distance. Can someone take me away from here, I'm freaking out]
[People don't leave the protected area my militiamen went to scout and got ripped to pieces by a giant bear!!! Remember, be careful not like me]
[Anyone have food for me? Me and my fiery wildcats are starving! Please, I don't want to end up as cat food]
[The system said it was fair competition, does that mean everyone is in a desert with nothing but large sandworms and oversized scorpions around??]
[Hahahaha, my Wearwolf warriors are actually high-grade units! they can actually grow to tier 8, in the future I don't want anyone to stand in my way as I sweep the continent with my might hahahaha!]
[sorry... aren't there people with highest and top grade units? Where does your confidence come from?]
[I think I saw someone selling food in the space exchange but I'm not sure because everything sold out right away lol]
Yes, amidst the streaming news in world chat, very few noticed Darks offer for food, not because it isn't interesting enough, but because the food sold out so quickly that there was nothing left to notice.
[You obtained +300 Wood and +50 Stone through the Space Exchange]
After eating an unbalanced meal, Dark checked his earnings on the [Space Exchange]
"Great! So many basic resources, at this rate I can upgrade my castle to a intermediate level today. I wonder what happens then?"
While fantasizing about a possible first upgrade reward, Dark glanced at the piled corpses of monsters a short distance away.
He didn't dissect them because he was busy eating, but Egolas was still constantly hunting in the area.
"Dissect"
[+180 Food]
[+6 Energy Stones]
[+23 Materials]
"Great, let's put that up for sale right now"
After putting more food on the shelves, Dark went again to carefully check his territory.
His food, meanwhile, was sold out again within seconds.
This time there were also a few more people who noticed this exchange.
