"Annelise! You'll be late for your acceptance letter"
"I know! I'm coming!"
I came running down the stairs to the kitchen where my mum and dad were.
"Good morning daddy. Good morning mum"
"Good morning cupcake. How was your night?"
"Good as always. Dad I don't want to pock put my books from school today permanently."
"And why's that?"
"I don't want to see Richard. He hates me everyone at school knows this"
"So?"
"So I don't want to go. He'll ruin my day"
"Sweetheart. You guys are growing up so this childish behavior has to stop."
"But dad?"
"No more have you forgotten you have to pick up your books today and your acceptance letter?"
I looked at the time and saw I was late. I jumped off my seat and run out leaving my mum and dad behind and headed for school which was not that far. I got to my locker and picked out my books and walked to my former class where everyone was waiting for their acceptance letters. I went to the back to wait for mine when Richard came in.
"And there's the biggest bitch in the universe. Annelise Washington."
Richard
I got to class today and saw my one and only heartbeat and enemy Annelise sitting at her usual place at the back. I did what I always do when I see her. which is to insult her.
"And there's the biggest bitch in the universe. Annelise Washington."
She lifted her head to give me her deadliest glare which made her look cute actually. I was about to sit when she opened her mouth and spoke
"And the douche bag who will never stop picking on me"
"Oh you did not just call me a douche bag bitch"
"I just did dork."
"You know what I'm not if I don't listen to you"
I placed my headphones which were off on my ears while watching her fuming face. I winked at her and sat down. The teacher came in and started saying something I did not care about but when he mentioned Harvard I t got my attention and I took off my headphones.
"Okay so here are the letters accepting some of you guys into Harvard."
He started mentioning names and I heard my name I got up and picked my letter. I also heard Annelise's name as well and I saw a look of disappointment on her face.
"Looks like I'll be seeing more of you bitch."
"Douche bag"
"Hoe"
"Player"
"Cry baby"
"That's enough from the both of you I would not hesitate to put you both in detention."
The teacher spoke making us return to our seats. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and took it out only to see a message from Annelise.
My love: You better not get in my way Richard.
Me: or else?
My love: I hate you
Me: Ouch that hurts. Better luck next time.
Annelise
I was about to explode when I read his message. I didn't understand him and his dislike towards me. We are both neighbours. Next door neighbours to be precise. Our parents became friends but not us. He was nice the day we met till he played a nasty joke on me by putting worms in mums spaghetti. Mum said it was nothing but it was to me cause I made it.
After a long speech by our teacher we all went back home and as usual Richard's parents gave me a ride home.
