Arian sniggered and cleared his throat. He was afraid of them but if there was one thing Arian learnt how to do so well was to act composed even in the face of danger. he walked into the meeting chamber confidently with his hands behind his back. He smiled and said:
"I wonder why my parents and the other gods acted so irresponsibly but tell me what is it that my father has done so wrong that he was thrown into that cell? I heard from so many Artemians on earth that my father is a hero to them. They say there is no Artemian that's law abiding as he is. So tell me what exactly did he do?... If you can't say anything about what he has done then could it be because, … he has dirt on you all?"
All the elders turned to look at Arian seriously, there was fury in their eyes and so much hatred the moment he said those words. Arian laughed and lightened the mood by making it sound like he was joking around:
