When Meng Ze heard these words, the hands wiping his hair froze. Following that, he lowered his arms and his gaze sank as he watched Xiang Han talk on the phone with his back facing him.
"You should!" On the other side, Xin Lu Yao said impatiently.
This made Xiang Han frown helplessly. "To be honest, I quite regret dressing up as a woman to approach him."
Back then, that was the easiest means to get closer to Meng Ze, but he hadn't thought of the end result. As expected, one lie easily became two, and two lies led to a third. It was a cycle.
Meng Ze's fists clenched in response and his mind was only thinking: He's regretting it… regretting that he approached me. He regrets being with me. He wants to leave. He finally got his revenge.
Sure enough, if it was real love, how could he not be angry upon learning of his true orientation? Moreover, that time with the contract was evidently just a half-hearted means to coax him, yet he actually didn't realise.
Meng Ze's heart was thrown into painful disarray as he scolded himself: Wake up. Until when are you going to fool yourself?
Xiang Han hung up and jumped in fright when he saw Meng Ze staring darkly at him the moment he turned around. By the time he recovered, a sense of guilt had welled up, causing him to laugh drily. "You're done washing?"
Meng Ze only made a dull sound of acknowledgement. When they passed by, he abruptly grabbed Xiang Han's shoulders and asked, voice repressed, "You want to move out?"
It's over! He heard it!
Xiang Han lamented inwardly but was uncertain because he didn't know how much Meng Ze had heard. He cautiously began, "Meng Ze, I feel that you've been too tense recently. Perhaps it's because you still mind that matter from before…"
"So you want to break up?" Meng Ze cut him off with an ugly expression. The grip on Xiang Han's shoulders tightened.
"No." Xiang Han hurriedly shook his head. "What I'm trying to say is that our deadlocked situation isn't good for the long term. Why don't we each take a few days to calm down…"
"You think… we're in a deadlock?" Meng Ze's voice wavered weakly.
Uh, isn't that so? Xiang Han felt that recently, even his words were spoken cautiously, afraid to stimulate him.
Meng Ze's expression dimmed and a self-mocking smile replaced it. "Are you… very tired of me and no longer want to put up with me?"
"It's not like that." Xiang Han urgently tried to explain. "I'm only concerned for you."
"Enough. You don't have to lie anymore." Meng Ze interrupted him heartlessly. "Give up, I won't agree to breaking up."
"I never thought of breaking up." Xiang Han was dumbfounded.
However, Meng Ze evidently did not believe his words and shook his head. "You don't have to continue lying. I know that you never liked me. Perhaps, you even hate me…"
"How could I not like you? If I didn't, I would have already broken up with you the day you found out. Why would I beg for your forgiveness?" Xiang Han was feeling a little anxious. Why did a hole open up in this person's brain and caused him to not hear what others were saying? It was fine if the hole led in a positive direction, but he was clearly heading down the path of self-abuse! Damn!
Meng Ze fell into silence for a moment before asking. "In that case, why did you refuse to sign the contract?"
"Contract?" Xiang Han initially didn't understand. When he finally realised what contract Meng Ze was talking about, he patiently explained, "Because my dad wanted me to go to his company. Didn't I already tell you?"
However, Meng Ze only said, "Back when I gave you the contract, Uncle Geng hadn't mentioned it yet but you refused to sign it and said you needed time to look over it. The next day, you said you were going to Si Chuang and this matter was never brought up again. Is it because you…" Are afraid of being tied down, making it difficult to leave any time?
The rest of his words did not need to be said, but their implication could not be any clearer.
Flabbergasted, Xiang Han wished he could go back in time and beat himself up.
"And if you really liked me, why didn't you get angry after knowing I lied to you and caused you to keep wearing women's clothing?"
"Didn't you not get angry even after knowing I was a man tricking you?" Xiang Han countered with a question.
Meng Ze replied seriously, "That's because I love you."
"Me too. It's because I love you too."
"But I already knew you were a man. You thought you'd fooled me when you hadn't. But you didn't know I've been fooling you all this while, using a random excuse to break off our engagement."
Xiang Han was once again rendered speechless. He stared seriously at Meng Ze, then… lunged at his neck to give him a kiss.
Dr Sigmund Freud once said: When there is conflict, a round of papapa should solve it. If it didn't, two rounds. If two rounds still did not succeed, it must be a problem with stamina and length.
Big A: [Freud never said this.]
Xiang Han: [Then, it must be from the internet. In addition, hurry up and turn on the censor.]
Xiang Han felt his length was normal. As for stamina, though he hadn't tried it yet, it definitely wouldn't be bad. It was completely possible to stop this never-ending argument. It's just that… the possibility of him being pushed down instead was very high. But this wasn't something he could help since the original host's stature was small.
Having been interrupted by Big A, Xiang Han was slightly distracted and lost focus on their kiss.
Meng Ze confirmed once more: Even his kiss was so half-hearted, how could he say he wasn't lying?
His hands moved a few times, wanting to push Xiang Han away but he couldn't bear to. In the end, he moved to lightly touch his head and deepened their kiss.
Xiang Han grew impatient, leading them to the sofa amid their kiss. His hands silently crept towards Meng Ze's bathrobe.
This caused Meng Ze to stiffen. He instinctively assumed Xiang Han wanted to numb himself rather than actually wanting to do it, considering how half-hearted he was.
Meng Ze didn't want to force him. He wanted to push Xiang Han away, but couldn't defy the instinctive desire in his heart. His thoughts rapidly morphed in another direction. Perhaps, this wasn't a bad idea. There was a saying that love is made. Since the situation had already reached this stage, why not make the fake show into a real one? He would first use his body to make this person stay.
As for the issue with skill. Ahem, can't he just practise a few more times?
Having thought of this, Meng Ze's heart raced and he grasped the initiative to kiss Xiang Han dizzy. Then, he swept the latter into his arms and carried him to bed.
It wasn't easy for Xiang Han to catch his breath, only to realise in astonishment he had been stripped clean. This development… was too fast.
Meng Ze stared at him with a scorching gaze. Seeing that he had finally come back to his senses, he immediately leaned over to press Xiang Han down and grabbed his chin. "I know you'd definitely hate me after this, but I… I don't have other choices. You were the one who provoked me first…"
The more he spoke, the lower his voice became. Then, he moved his fingers away and seized Xiang Han's lips in a frenzy.
Xiang Han couldn't understand what he was saying and he also didn't want to. In any case, this was the battle of being top or bottom, where would he have time to think?
In this desperate situation, Xiang Han's limbs were practically useless. He wanted to turn over but Meng Ze's kiss was too forceful, not allowing him to catch his breath, let alone muster up any strength. Towards the end, he could only struggle as he let out fragmented whimpers.
Meng Ze's heart fell. Sure enough, his theory had been verified. Xiang Han didn't actually want to do it, but the arrow on the bow couldn't not be released. He hastily did some foreplay before…
Hardening his heart, his waist moved. Xiang Han immediately let out a cry with a pale face.
Meng Ze panicked and immediately stopped, not daring to make any movements. He asked with worry, "What's wrong? D-Does it hurt?"
"If you dare, let me go into you…" Xiang Han said weakly.
Meng Ze no longer dared to do anything rash. He carefully exited and coaxed him. "No more. We're not doing it anymore. Let's sleep."
"It hurts…" Xiang Han's tone was filled with bitterness.
"Wait for me." Meng Ze hurriedly got up and went to search the internet. Then, he put on some clothes and rushed out. Before long, he came back with a bag of medicine and a bunch of lubricant.
"Xiao Han, eat some medicine. If it still hurts tomorrow…" Pushing the door open, his voice came to a stop. The hand holding onto the plastic bag gently laid it down because a certain person had already fallen asleep.
Meng Ze sighed and left. He soon came back with a bottle of ointment and lightly helped Xiang Han apply it. Then, he held Xiang Han and fell asleep.
The next morning, Meng Ze had already left by the time Xiang Han woke up.
He got out of bed and realised that Meng Ze had left a slip of paper on the table. It generally informed him that Meng Ze had something urgent to do at the company but would be back soon. He told Xiang Han to not be afraid. Also, there was some congee in the kitchen and some dishes in the fridge that he could just heat up before eating.
Xiang Han directly overlooked the words 'don't be afraid' and put the paper back before going in search of food.
After having his meal, he rubbed his stomach and prepared to go downstairs for a walk. To his surprise, the door was locked.
He instinctively wanted to call and ask Meng Ze, but could not find a phone after searching the house. With great difficulty, he found a computer but after logging in, there was no internet.
[What's going on?] Xiang Han was bewildered. [Have I been locked up?]
Big A: [Ahem, looks like it.]
[Oh.] Xiang Han laid down on the sofa and told the system, [Little Nine, steal some internet from next door and help me download some clips. Meng Ze's skills are tragic enough to end me.]
