Walking through the dense forest at night, you find yourself lost in this unfamiliar area. You don't have a clue of how you gotten there nor you don't know why you're here. But all you do now is that you need to find a house, a store, or someone to help you.
Before you were sent here, you were just drawing the landscape at the abandoned school near your hometown, then all of a sudden a thick black smoke engulfed you, sending you to these woods you've never seen before. At least you still have your crossbody messenger bag with you. You're not getting any signal at all, making your phone useless to call anyone for help, so you keep walking until you hopefully find a house and ask for help.
The full moon and your phone's flashlight are the only sources of light in these woods as you continue passing through the dirt pathway. Only trees and weird old storage containers could be found out here. Perhaps you're near an abandoned factory or warehouse.
Minutes go by and you soon see a tall two-story abandoned building in front of you and decide that it was best to head inside for the night. When morning comes tomorrow, you'll go out and try to find some help. There could be dangerous predators out here in these woods, so you're not risking being some animal's dinner the longer you stay out here.
You head inside and all you see is dust everywhere, some dirt stains on the concrete floor, large old wooden crates, and a rusty closed bear trap on the floor covered in dry blood. You stare at it as you just slowly pass by it and head up the dark metal stairs. Each step you took made a creaking sound and you try to be as quiet as possible.
You slide open the metal door and you see more wooden crates. Some had a dark-colored sheet over them. As you walk past them, a crow standing on the edge of the big hole in the roof lets out a loud cry, making you gasp and jump.
Y/n: (Sighs) Fucking bird.
Then the crow flies away as you continue walking down the building in hopes of finding somewhere to rest on since there was no way you're going to sleep on one of the crates. Then an idea comes to your mind. You grab a couple of the dark-colored sheets from the crates and undust them before you lay one on the floor next to the corner of the building and the other over you as you lay down.
It's not going to be the best experience sleeping in an abandoned building, but at least you have these sheets to help keep you warm and your stuff. When morning comes, you plan on hiking through the forest to find a road to travel down or a house to call for the police. Either way, you had no idea what was really in store for you.

You can see the finish line, just less than a hundred feet away from you as you're in first place with your fastest and trusted steed. Then you hear the crowd scream and yell, but that doesn't stop you. You worked too hard to get here and you're going to finish this race even if you're the last person on the tracks.
But a thick black fog surrounds you and your horse, quickly engulfing you two as your horse stops and tries to escape the black fog, but there's no way out. You can only hang on tight as you try to calm him down, but none of your commands were working. The scene completely changes and now it looks like you're in the middle of a cornfield.
You finally manage to stop your horse and now it looks like you're nowhere near the stadium. Looking around, all you see is corn and old haystacks. Which direction should you go? You signal your horse to just walk and it does. You're also beginning to notice that there's no other sounds other than the sounds of your horse walking along the dirt. No sounds of tractors or birds, people, or running water. It's too quiet around here for your liking.
After trailing through the cornfields for what seems like thirty minutes you finally reach an old two-story house. It doesn't look like a complete mess and thankfully it doesn't look like it's falling apart, so maybe someone lives there. You hop off your horse before taking him to the side of the house and tieing his rope to the fence. You go up the wooden stairs and as soon as you reach the entrance; you knock on the door.
After another minute or two, you knock on the door again only to find that no one is opening the door. Now convinced that maybe no one lives here, you slowly open the door and make your way in. There's little to no furniture other than an old stained couch in the living room, along with an old television set in front of it.
Y/n: Hello? Anyone home?
You don't hear anything other than your own footsteps walking along the wooden floors. You don't think anyone lives here. There's no way someone lives here. Upon entering the kitchen, all you can smell is the rotting flesh of pigs coming from a large pot on the stove. The just sight of it was going to make you throw up. You grab an old rag laying on the table before using it to grab the whole pot and throw it out the window. If, for whatever reason, you have to stay here for the night until you leave in the morning, there's no way you're going to let the whole house stink of rotting pig flesh.

On this beautiful afternoon, you're skiing down the snowy mountain practicing for the tournament next week. You've been practicing day and night for this tournament and you can feel it in your bones that maybe you'll get that first place prize.
But as you continue skiing down the mountain, a thick black fog appears from out of the snowy grounds. You turn to the side to avoid it, but as soon as you go past it, the fog follows you. You try your best to go faster, but the fog catches up to you before it completely engulfs you for a few seconds.
You couldn't see anything so you stop moving in order to figure out what to do next. Then the fog disappears and instead of being up high on a mountain, you're standing in front of a big log cabin. It's snowing, and you don't have a clue where you are since you never saw this cabin before. You hope that someone's inside and they can help you.
Making your way to the front entrance of the cabin, and knock on the door. You wait patiently out there for a couple of minutes before knocking on the door again. Still, there's no answer. Maybe there's a good chance someone doesn't live here. When you turn the doorknob it wasn't lock and you open the door.
Y/n: Hello?
You see a lit fireplace near the center, a couple of couches, and across the room there's a bar with old bottles all over the floor and counter. After hearing no response, you let yourself in. You put your ski equipment to the side near the door before proceeding to explore the cabin. With your bag on your back, you walk up the stairs and see four doors in the hallway. You open the first three that you saw and see that they're messy bedrooms. You then go to the last door down the hallway and when you open it, it's also a bedroom, but not as messy as the other ones.
Y/n: Well, this will have to do til morning.
You enter the room and shut the door behind you. The window was left slightly open so you close it back down and lock it. It's kinda of chilly in here but you're glad your jacket is keeping you warm enough. Looking out the window, it is sorta dark out there but you honestly can't tell if it's night right now.
Well, all you know is that it's best to stay here and leave early in the morning. You take off your snow boots and get under the covers. It takes a while to fall asleep since all you can think about is where exactly you are and what you're going to do in the morning. But while you fall asleep, someone enters the cabin.

You don't know where you are right now. All you know is that you passed out while binge watching horror movies in your living room and now you just woke up in the middle of the street. It's dark, there's a few abandoned cars with their lights on and creepy looking houses. You get up and walk on the sidewalk to see if there's anyone out here.
You think to yourself that this is just a dream. But why does this dream feel so real? This must be a dream since there's no way in hell you're just came here out of nowhere.
Y/n: Anybody here?!
As dumb as that move was, you knew this has to be a weird dream that just feels real. You can't think of any horror movie you saw that's even halfway close to where you're in right now. But if there's anything you learn, and that this is a dream, is that it's best to go in one of the houses and wait until you wake up.
You pick one of the two-story houses and, knowing that this was a dream; you don't even knock and just walk right in. And you're right, no one in the house but you. You go up the stairs to see pretty much the same decor and lack of furniture.
As you continue to explore the house, you're completely unaware of a certain someone that's watching you from the shadows. Letting the curiousity take the better of him as he lets you explore the house.

You wake up and find yourself sleeping on the cold metal floor of what looks to be an abandoned facility. Getting up, you think this is just some weird dream that feels so real. Before you slept, you recently graduated from med school and got a job working at a family practice, and tomorrow you'll complete your first week there. You just hope this dream doesn't last too long or your alarm will wake you up.
You don't recognize this place at all. This doesn't look like any place you've ever been to. Walking down one of the many hallways, you see a small office through an open window before you continue walking.
There must be dozens of rooms in this building, having you believe that perhaps this was a mental institution for the number of rooms and shower rooms there are. This is the weirdest dream you've ever had, and it also feels incredibly real.
You continue walking down the hallway, taking a peek into every room you walk past in until you reach a flight of dark wooden stairs. You don't know what else to do and so you walk up the stairs and there you just see a small hallway and one door that's down that hall. You walk down the hall, reaching your hand to the doorknob before slowly opening it.
There you see a classic style modern office that's in way better shape than every room downstairs. This must be the headmaster's office in this dream. A big wooden desk in front of a large brown leather office chair. This would be a dream office come true for some. Bookshelves everywhere filled with books and a three section brown leather couch in front of the desk.
You then start to feel sleepy and you just crash on the couch. Maybe this is one of those dreams where if you fall asleep in the dream, then maybe you'll wake up. But you'll soon realize that this is far from a dream.

You fell asleep in the studio with your notebook and pens in hand. Then you feel a cool breeze making you wake up from your nap. But you're not in the same studio anymore. You wake up in a completely different studio than the one you were in.
Getting up, you look around and call out to your friends thinking they must be pulling a prank on you. You exit the studio and continue to call out for your friends.
Y/n: Come on! Stop playing with me and come out!
But there's no answer and you realize very quickly that this isn't the same building you were in either. You're starting to think that maybe this could be a dream since you know damn well your friends would have come out right now and that this building is different. But then again, if this was a dream then by now you should have woken up right?

~The Oni/ Kazan Yamaoka~
.
You found yourself walking in this strange place you'd never seen before. Just a minute ago you were in the abandoned Yamaoka Estate and while you were looking at a shrine, a thick black fog surrounded you and you were quickly summoned here.
Now you're here, in the middle of what seems to be... a completely different world. The trees are dead, thick tall grass patches, and old wooden shrines. At least you still have your backpack and you're still wearing your pink kimono you got from a store in Tokyo.
There is so much gray and darkness in the clouds above you that you're beginning to worry if you're the only one here. After minutes of walking, you finally come across the abandoned Yamaoka home. But this Yamaoka home is more stable and nicer than the one you were just in.
You enter the home and see that it's nicely lit, with somewhat clean floors and walls. You then come across the same shrine you were in before, but the one you were in before was dark and there was no red mask. But here, it's lit by candles and the red demon mask is hung up on the wall. It's the legendary Oni mask... it's right here... It's so scary looking and...
You reach your hand towards the mask, placing the tips of your fingers on the cheek of the mask. It feels like the material is made out of leather that you're not sure which kind of leather it is. And the horns of the mask look to be real. You wouldn't doubt it's fake since the mask is from history long ago. Taking your hand back, you go explore the rest of the home. Maybe there's something here that could help you get back home.
Eventually, you find a wooden flight of stairs and decide to explore the second floor of the home. You keep thinking to yourself that someone must live here since the building doesn't look to be abandoned. That and they have the red Oni mask in the shrine.
Checking every room, you see a futon on the floor of the room and not much else before going to the last room all the way down the hall. You slide the door open and see the same thing as all the other rooms. But this room and futon were way bigger than the other rooms had. And it does look comfortable...
You lay down on the futon, and as soon as you do you smell a scent that's... what's the word?... It's not a bad smell, it's... You honestly can't think of a word to describe this smell, but it's a good man smell. Wasn't long for you to fall asleep knowing it's been a long day, that and maybe it's a night out, so it's best to get some rest before you go exploring your way back home. And it also wasn't long for someone else to enter the home...

You wander around the dark empty streets of a neighborhood you've never seen before. And in your kawaii cat maid work uniform doesn't make the situation any better. Now standing in the middle of the street, you think to yourself that the best thing to do now is to try to speak to someone here since it seems like the whole neighborhood is surrounded by tall stone walls. You go towards a two-story house and knock on the door.
Y/n: Hello?
You knock on the door again and there's still no answer. Now you're kind of starting to freak out knowing that you're out here all alone. But you don't realize that you're not alone just yet. Instead of knocking and waiting any longer, you hurry into the house and close and lock the door.
Looking around you don't see anyone here and you just see a few pieces of furniture in the living room. You then make your way up the stairs and into one of the bedrooms. No one's there either. All you know is that it's night and you're going to have to take a good look around the area in the morning to see if there's a way to escape this weird world.
There's only a somewhat clean mattress on the floor and you flip it over, seeing that it's cleaner on the other side. There's a huge window with no curtains or anything to close it. You look outside to see if there's anyone outside, but you don't see anyone. You turn around and call it a night. Unaware that someone was there, and that he was watching you from the shadows.

It's dark... cold... you don't have a clue where you are right now other than the building appears to be an abandoned school. Rusty old lockers, stained tile floors, and every classroom you peak in are in ruins and decay. Could this be a dream? A nightmare? Both?
You then exit the building, going outside to see quite a scene. The sky above you is filled with thick dark gray clouds, with large single-person cages hanging from the clouds as well. Dead trees, dead grass, broken stone floors, and a light fog surrounds it all. Just where the hell are you?
You were just in your dorm room in college studying about the paranormal and stuff and then a black fog surrounded you and now you're here. Maybe you fell asleep while you were studying. But then again, why here? Your dreams are never this dark and creepy.
Y/n: What the hell?
Right in the center of the grounds is a red circle with weird markings and symbols. You get on your knees and examine this red circle. From the looks of it, the liquid to create the circle looks fresh but you don't know what the liquid could be. You also notice the symbols and think that some of them look very familiar. You swear you saw these symbols before, but you can't remember where exactly you read it from.
