As expected next day, Mrs. Mittal arrived in Sora's office taking her appointment. Once she came inside her cabin Sora asked Mr. Ben 'to not disturb her' who was aware of the reason. He was also confused why Sora is entertaining the fact that Sora get proposal of marriage from Mr. Yug Mittal. He knows Sora still cares for Reyhan and may be still in love with him.
When Mr. Ben came across Reyhan, he asked why Mrs. Mittal is here as they don't have any official meeting and after party there was still time to go for further details.
Mr. Ben spoke calmly, "They were talking about the possible marriage proposal they had for Ms. Brook"
After listening to this someone started to emanate very dark aura as if it will engulf all the office if possible. Reyhan said nothing even though it created havoc inside him and just nodded while he sat in his cubicle beside Rubina and resumed his work.
Inside Sora's office, her heart started to beat faster thinking about what will happen once Reyhan will come to know and how he will react. She only wished he will forget about her and let her go as living together was not possible now. Going away from her with a good reason or at least creating one was the only way where he wouldn't be able to stop her.
Once their discussion finished, Sora as a humble person see off Mrs. Mittal to outside the office where Mrs. Mittal looked happy which was observed by certain someone.
Sora returned to her cabin so that she could continue her work in her office. She was not aware that someone had already sneaked into her cabin and was waiting for her. Just as she entered and closed the door, she heard the familiar voice.
"You don't have to do this, Sora!" Reyhan called, and Sora felt like her heart had stopped beating when she saw him folding his both hands below his chest, leaning back to wall near to door and eyes closed as if to endure some pain.
"What are you doing here?"
She did not get any response but frown on his face.
"If nothing...go back to your work," she instructed ignoring his condition.
"What's with that question? I can't come in your cabin without work?", Reyhan said opening his eyes as he walked towards her.
Sora glared at him, "I didn't have time for your things. And you should better stop coming to my office without my permission."
Reyhan approached her as he stood facing her that startled her.
"So my love is a thing for you now? Are you trying to hurt me by discussing the proposal by Yug Mittal? Trust me I am hurt enough, now stop all this", Reyhan's voice was cold enough to send chill over her spine.
"Stop it Mr. Reyhan. I already told you I don't love you. It's myth and thanks to you, it proved.", Sora took a deep breathe glaring at him.
"I told you that I will wait for you for all my life. Why you are acting like this?"
"Ohh, by the way, I am mature enough to know which man is perfect for me to spend the rest of my life with, so please leave me alone" Sora countered ignoring his early question and walked past to him who was fuming.
Just as she was about to go ahead, Reyhan's strong grip held her hand and pulled her back with a strong force that she ended up in his tight embrace.
"I can't. You know you want me too but you just don't want to accept it," Reyhan said as he placed the light kisses on her shoulder trying to suppress his anger.
Sora gulped and tried to push him away and heard him again, "I know you like it. Your body tells me everything."
Sora felt scared with it and whispered, "Let me go, Rey.." and she pushed him away harshly, which he allowed her to do as after long time he heard his name 'Rey' in her honey voice but what he heard next made him upset.
"I never agreed for any man suggested by my family but I am thinking now. Isn't it enough to understand that I am finally moving on?", Sora countered at him.
Those words hurt him but he reminded himself to be calm, not to lash out on her and asked while looking into her eyes with intense, "Is that really what you want?"
Her eyes wavered for a moment as instead of opposing her he asked her calmly like he was ready to give up. "Yes, it is what I want!" she replied, acting confident outside but inside her heart was breaking in pieces with the way he was looking at her.
Taking a step away from her he turned and left without further argument which shocked her. When she heard door shut sound, Sora could feel her heart was not stable since the moment he left after staring her for a good moment. She stood near the window and kept her hand on her chest, 'Why? Why is it hurting like hell?'
Letting him go like that hurt her. She felt like there was a weight on her chest and she couldn't breathe. She exhaled a few more times but couldn't stop her eyes from getting moist. She grabbed the water glass and had a few sips, hoping the tightness in her chest would go away.
