The next morning, Sora woke up with more dark circles than the previous day under her eyes. This was the second night that Sora couldn't get any proper sleep at all and that too because she tried to sleep with a hungry stomach again.
Sora in a daze picked up her phone. Her eyes widened to see many missed calls from Reyhaan. Last day after their argument during lunch Sora just left the office saying she is not feeling well.
Later at night, she got a message from Reyhaan asking her if she is okay but she did not see her phone once she reached home. Her sad feelings had consumed her all night. It was not easy for her to not cry but she was so stubborn. Her every tear dried in her eyes thinking of what next?
Sora thought, 'She has to concentrate on her study and company now! She has to leave her feelings...for Reyhaan behind and focus on her career. Later father already told her she has some big task to do!'
Somehow she felt relieved as her exams are in the coming weeks which can take her mind off him at least for some days. So she decided to behave like herself!
She quickly dialed his number. "Reyhaan?"
When Reyhaan picked up the call he was silent for a moment. But when again she called his name he came to his senses.
"Are you okay?", he asked her worriedly after a short pause which felt like an hour to her.
"Yeah! I am okay just a little headache!", Sora replied trying her best!
Reyhaan noticed the change in her voice. "Should I call a doctor for you? If Mr. Bob knows any good doctor around your place? " He asked again.
Sora had an urge to cry as she remembered his words. "No-nothing. College study and company's work that is all. Once I will have some good food in my stomach, I will be okay! You tell me. Why did you call?"
"Amm...I need your help."
"Regarding your proposal to her?", she almost whispered.
"En.."
Sora spoke after a moment, "I will come. Send me the address"
Reyhaan paused, "Are you sure? You sound tired. Take rest I will plan something else."
"No," she firmly said. "I will be there." Sora wants to finish this once and for all. She wants to bury this blooming feeling so she can move.
"Alright! Sending you address. Come once you feel good.", Reyhaan asked her to rest for a while. As Sora ended the call her shoulders slumped.
Reyhaan was looking at his phone as if it is Sora. Krish was looking at him and asked finally, "What happened? Is she coming?"
Reyhaan pursed his lips, "She seems not well!", he narrowed his eyes at Krish, "I hurt her again!", Reyhaan spoke with a chilling voice.
Krish felt the chill and spoke, "Boss..just listen to me! We are doing all this for her happiness only right? It's for you both and for your good memory so please, please endure for a little more time."
Reyhaan stared at him in utter silence. The entire night went restless for him. He wanted to talk to her so badly, but she had left the last day hurriedly and does not pick up her phone. When he got a call from her and knew that she would come, his dull face brightened, but his happiness was short-lived when he heard her voice was shivering as if she was in pain but hiding it.
Krish pokes his shoulder as he does not have the courage to disturb his silence, and spoke, "Boss...today is an important day for you! So be ready for it! I know it will be fruitful at end of the day!"
On the same day was going to be their four weeks anniversary when Sora and Reyhaan met. Reyhaan had already begun preparing for their special day. The gleam in his eyes slowly returned and his mind felt lighter.
In his daze, he jerked Krish's hand on his shoulder and nodded, "En! It's a very important day."
"But if she doesn't feel good, I need to postpone it.", Reyhaan spoke in a serious tone.
"No need! As per my understanding, she will come even if hell will lose open its door! Don't think anything buddy! Just go with the flow.", Krish blabbered.
Reyhaan did not show any change in his expression. But for the last two days, he was not feeling good about it, he couldn't get assurance that she was only his. Ever since he started to behave differently, they have only drifted apart from each other.
"En...if this flow did not happen well, I will send you to that hell!", Reyhaan spoke and went to his room leaving Krish dumbfounded at the place!
