He had closed his eyes and his hands had clenched into a fist all this time.
Her touch turned slower when she was about to finish. It was too tempting for him! How can her touch relax him and tighten his muscles at the same time? She was applying for the medicine with that sensual touch of hers. But he was not feeling any pain as if she took all the pain with her touch. How should he explain to her that he was feeling tormented!
"Enough!" he groaned in his husky voice when her touch turned so much slower. He never knew that he was this sensitive to her touch or he would have denied her to apply for medicine. But for her, it was as if he is drawing a line in between them.
"Why are you behaving so weird today?" his whole body turned rigid when he heard her question in an aggrieved tone.
"If you don't like me to apply for the medicine this much, you should not have saved me in the first place!", Sora was now breathing heavily. She was on verge of crying but she does not give in. She was still thinking about his morning distant behavior towards her and now this.
His gaze turned complicated and he felt sudden suffocation in his heart when he realized that he had hurt her feelings by asking her to stop. When the thought of her getting hurt passed his mind, he was not able to bear it! So, he moved and shielded her with his own body. And why? It was obvious, he was worried about her!
"Stop sulking! You are no better than Krish when it comes to nagging!", his tone sounded lazy and tired as if he could not wait to get rid of her. He just wants her to go home as soon as possible as she left her dinner in this chaos. She must be hungry!
"I am fine now after this ointment applied. Go home with Mr. Bob and have some dinner. You were already hungry!", His tone was soft, making the girl dumbfounded again.
'Is he a man who is suffering from menopause?' she mumbled in her mind at his cold and warm behavior all this time.
"No, first I will drop you home, then I will go home!", came the firm reply from Sora.
Reyhaan sighed when he heard her voice and his face was stern again. He looked back at her sideways when he saw her face full of determination but thinking something he turned cold again.
"I will go myself! It is getting late already! If you will drop me and will go back it will be midnight!", he spoke while wearing his other white shirt in a hurry.
"That is fine for me!", Sora was still not letting go.
"Look Sora, as a gentleman it is my responsibility to take care of you. So I did! I should have dropped you first, but Mr. Bob is here so I need not worry. And I will also check with my doctor as soon as I reach home. Now I am feeling much better, so rest assured!", Reyhaan was also adamant.
Once he spoke, he open the door and left from another side. Sora was looking for his every move. Now he came to her side and open the car door for her telling her to leave. He looked away, straight to some point as he knows she was staring at him only. Sora's eyes which were worried dimmed instantly at his cold behavior!
With heavy steps, she came out still looking at him thinking, 'Does she read this man incorrectly?'
"Take care!", Sora said and diverted her stare to her car. She strode towards her car signaling Mr. Bob not to come out to open it for her. She does not turn, she silently seat on her passenger seat and closed her eyes resting her head on the seat.
When Sora went to her car, Reyhaan was simply staring at her back, his gaze unreadable. He saw how she sit inside without turning back or looking at him and for a moment his chest tightened but he ignored this feeling. He sat inside the car and unknowingly followed Sora's car which started a moment ago.
When Sora's car take the highway to the outskirts, Reyhaan's car followed her silently. Mr. Bob mentioned the same to Sora again but this time she does not give any reaction and just hummed.
"He is still tailing us even if he is injured?", Mr. Bob asked her in a serious tone.
"I used healing already, so he is not in pain anymore!", Sora replied with closed eyes.
Bob wanted to ask her why would she do that but looking at her exhausted face he does not have the heart to argue with her. Her healing capability always takes a burden on her physically. She is still understanding how it works but is able to do it as her willpower to help others is great!
