Morana sat down in her chair, exhausted. Tyr was an idiot, useless. When Adarlan, he was useless and now useless again.
Zilda has always been a sweet, passionate and determined girl. And, now like Alanna, apparently that hadn't changed. She didn't want Tyr, because she didn't see Adarlan in him! That was pretty obvious.
While Adarlan was kinder, Tyr was completely full of himself. Not that Adarlan was a good boy, but at least he knew better how to hide the darkness of his heart. Especially when with Zilda. Tyr is too self-centered for that.
"If he fails, I won't spare him. And his family may rot in poverty. I'll make a point of watching as they decay. I warned Gustav how the boy should be raised and he didn't. So everyone goes pay!"
Morana was furious when she remembered how everything had gone wrong and she had to endure so many hundreds of years to have a new chance to eliminate her greatest enemy.
