Devlin swallowed hard. It was useless for him to deny the truth. If the Alpha asked this, it could only mean he already knew. Also, the mind-link was connected, so through this Faolán would know if Devlin was lying or not.
"Yes." He replied and looked down. He knew that conceal things from your Alpha was a bad thing, and depending on what was it, the action could be considered a crime.
Faolán was glad the ranger didn't try to deny it. He could feel Devlin's emotions, and if he'd come here without evidence before, the guard's nervousness and doubt were enough proof of his guiltiness.
