I was trying do explore my abilities and developed my mental faculties better, since I realized that I can somehow sense death, which points out that the body does not need to know what kills them to know that it really kills them. My mind (or rather the soul, since the brain is included in the physical body) records the death and compiles them making it so that whenever I encountered something that already killed me frequently (the "zombies" and the blade), I would have this uneasiness that goes away after the source of it also disappear from my immediate premise, the more they killed me, the more further they need to be.
Fortunately, I managed to ignore the blade, after getting "used" to it by not dying until now within its presence. It's like getting used nearby a killer since they never killed anyone (in one's knowledge) and lowering your guard against it, unless the impression was too strong in the first place it needed special triggers for you to lower your guard.
Enough of that, I was doing training with a song in my head ~I'm just a regular, everyday, normal~, from my original world to distract myself, when I suddenly heard a sound.
You know what came to my mind?
Finally! plot development! thank ROB! its Friday!
The last one was pretty irrelevant but the sudden change was enough for me to scramble about, forgot my training and ran towards the direction where the sound most likely came from.
Because I knew that "zombies" don't make a sound for no reason.
I ran across the snowy land (It's snowing already? That's why it felt so cold recently...), praying that the direction I chose was correct.
I don't know how long I have been running and I think I was ignoring most information in my concentration of running towards one direction. I felt like I am going down fainting once I focused my attention elsewhere. I just hope I chose the correct direction.
I ran like a madman until a silhouette appeared on my vision. No it was three silhouette.
A familiar thought flashed through my mind, but left immediately after getting near enough that the three people shifted their vision towards me... I narrow my eyes trying to catch that fleeting thought.
A girl(?) mounting a boy(?) and another boy(teenager?) standing away from the two.
Actually the girl(since she has long hair, long hair means girl... right?) was in a familiar position...
Oh! She was trying to eat the boy she was mounting to! A zombie! Poor guy!
A trivial thought passed my mind as I was breathing real hard from the running just a while ago.
I feel my heart really beating fast and loud I think the three heard it, specially the girl... they way she looks at me was like the other zombies look at me like I was prey, specially those strong ones that survive the surprise attack and manage to take distance (still dead).
The guy being mounted was looking at me wondering why I was here and what am I doing, or maybe other reasons.
But the other guy... His eyes showed confusion... enlightenment... killing intent.
That's when I shifted my gears.
I stopped breathing hard, shifted my stance to prepare for interception.
But the guy was fast.
He was immediately in front of me all of a sudden, in a stabbing motion.
He was too fast for me to prepare for anything that all I knew next was I was already stabbed at the heart. But I don't care-
[You died. Macro save point detected. Load save point]
My vision shifts as I look at him from another angle and see the surprise in his eyes.
But I was on my stabbing motion with my blade, before he can even pull out his sword from the body beside me, I already stabbed him in the heart.
I saw regret in his eyes becoming fear, then desperation, pleading, and finally giving up.
I don't know who he was nor I want to. Because…
No one looks at me with killing intent seriously and gets away with it easily.
I looked at him as he falls down dying, like a puppet that lost its string. I watch him.
I pulled out my blade as the his body was about to drag it to the ground, splattering blood all over the snowy ground.
Hmm… just like any other victims that had blood that flows through them, he did not leave any stain on my blade. I double checked both side of the blade then sheathe it.
I am about to look at the siblings, yes I finally remembered why the two look familiar, when something caught my attention first.

Then a p*k*b*ll appeared in my hand.
I don't know whether to applaud on how did it suddenly appear on my hand or the blatant copy of the material, as the design was how I would imagine a p*k*b*ll would look like in real world.
Then I remembered that I still have a quest to complete.
