As the gun blew apart, it sent its sharp metal parts flying around; some of them took out my right eye, some got stuck in my left leg, chest, and arms; the opponent, on the other hand, had suffered no injury because of his damned shield.
"Mei!" The warrior slammed his spear on the ground, glaring it from the dangerous gasses.
'What?' I had barely enough time to understand what was happening; the gun malfunctioned, the cooling system went off the rail, my right arm was frozen, and so was his shield, yet now it was all okay, yet I remained with a frozen arm.
The shoulder was starting to hurt; it felt as if the entire arm was being stabbed by a million extremely sharp needles and crushed to bits. The pain was short-lived, as all the nerves in my arms died very rapidly, and the nanomachine worked in tandem to cut it off before the damage could spread.
