"As expected, there's no tactic when they're that desperate; all of them came crashing through the front gates." I said to myself as I charged forward.
"Their leader is missing, so they do have something stored for you; as for the rest, they don't need much when they're all overwhelmingly stronger than you are at the moment; if you survive and stall them for five minutes, I can start gathering some holy powers." Said the fragment of truth.
"That's a pretty tall order; I'll see what I can do." I responded.
The group had already destroyed the gates and essentially allerted everyone; right now they were fighting the royal guards, stationed in front of the plaza in front of the main church that was open to visitors since the city had been evacuated. Thankfully, there were no civilians getting in the way of our soldiers.
