Back at HQ, I saw the others talk about the mission. Everyone was filled with fear. Everyone possessed incredible powers, from the ability to raise the dead to life to being able to unleash all kinds of natural disasters.
I also felt a bit uneasy; while all of our equipment was getting some emergency maintenance, all we could do was walk in circles, hoping that our enemy wouldn't make it back here before our weapons and armor have finished repairs.
"From what I've heard, the amount of casualties is around eighty million and still counting; that tsunami destroyed the entire city." I heard someone say, We, on the other hand, had also suffered our fair share of casualties.
Our squad in particular was lucky that no one had died, but if we had stayed for any longer, that beast that broke through the dome would've likely killed us all. At the same time, we had lost the hero of our nation, Kalkavan.
