When I got there, both Kusari and Alex were doing their best with what little aura they knew they had in order to fight the beast in front of them. Advancing forward while using their flames cut off any tentacles that tried to get in their way.
The many roads around had crumbled away, reducing the area around into a large pile of cement rubbles. Powerful geysers were spewing steaming hot liquid into the clouds as the giant octopus-like being was slowly growing bigger in size.
'You can do this; this is nothing to you.' I said to myself as I tested the durability of the barrier by poking it with the back of my right hand, and it felt liquid. After a couple taps, I tried imbuing some of my power into my hands to try and claw away at it, but the moment I added my power to my claw, it turned solid.
