"Awww, look at her; she finally graced us with her presence." Kusari taunted me.
"I wouldn't say that considering your ki is weaker than mine." I responded as I sat down next to Diego.
The buffet, as always, was stacked with plenty of items; many of those dishes contained ingredients never seen before, and I'm sure even our cuisine was alien to the others present at the table.
"Did you take some time off from your studies?" Diego asked as he was enjoying his sandwich filled with tuna, mayonnaise, a yellow sauce made with a spicy and sweet pepper, and a fried egg and cheese-filled cutlet.
"Yeah, my teacher thought I needed some time to rest after all of this time I spent constantly practicing a new technique; I think I'm even ready to start using it in combat." I said to try and catch Diego's attention, and while he gave me a quick glance, he didn't make any further comment on the fact.
