Diego swung the giant weapon against the hydra, clearly aiming at the base of the creature's neck. The beast protected itself using its right arm to block the weapon, quickly used the free hand to get a hold of the weapon, and tried to use it against Diego by forcing him to land against the dried sea bed and then attempting to crush him with his own weapon.
That's when I came into play. I managed to quickly remove the beast from its belly and begin dragging it away from Diego. Satsui managed to pin one of the many heads against the ground, which made the entire beast tilt a little to its back.
"Put the beast down!" I wanted to scream, but the beast quickly turned its back and fell on all fours, all of it directed at Satsui. It wasn't until then that I realized what was happening.
