Pov Valis
As I charged forward, the Paladin changed weapons and summoned his pillar; this time he was holding it by one of the many handles that could be found in the center of such an odd weapon. He raised his right arm, ready to swing down the heavy weapon, and I immediately took advantage of the opening he created in his stance to launch many smaller projectiles that exploded before making contact in order to block his field of view.
He then swung down his pillar as I landed a relatively fast swing against it. As time stopped, I took a couple of seconds to look at my surroundings. Gale and Forren were currently chasing the small mage; the mage had summoned weird elemental spirits that were slowing down Forren and dealing with Satsui's shadows. Diego was being flung against Tsui, while he was holding his own against the other warrior.
