PoV Valis
The very first thing I did was learn the basis for utilizing mana. I learned the basics of every kind of magic except for ancient magic, which required too much time. Because of that, I learned to cast long-range attacks that fully utilize my naturally gifted body. I learned fast casting, I learned the basis for summoning magic, I learned one enhancing spell, and I built a really basic and simple mana circuit. It wasn't very difficult, especially for summoning magic that only needed memorizing one single spell; that was now only a matter of muscle memory for me.
The magical circuit was the magic that I put most effort into; it made casting much easier and more straight-forward, and it also helped me have a better grasp on my own mana.
"Tsui." As I called his name, he started affectionately poking his nose at my cheek.
"Yes?"
"We are kind of… dating, right?" I hesitated a bit, but he didn't seem to mind.
