When Diego appeared back, he was strangely fine; he was exhausted. In terms of mana, he was so lacking that for a moment we thought he was about to die, but as usual, Folarin's magic was able to heal all of his fatigue.

'It's impressive how resilient he is. I was pretty sure his body was dead; he had no pulse when we picked him up from where he was lying.' I thought as he was getting back up.

Diego, on the other hand, remained silent; he didn't utter a word to us. He tested for a short while to see if his abilities were still working perfectly fine, then he got out.

"Should we tell him?" I asked the others, but they all nodded negatively. 

In his absence, the people he tried to recruit had successfully accepted to become part of our team, and while I wasn't the biggest fan of those things, they looked to be pretty strong in their own right, so at the very least they weren't going to be burdens.
