The many glowing particles surrounding my body suddenly changed color, and that caused them to explode. Thankfully, that wasn't enough to damage me in the slightest, but it did scare me a bit. As I once again tried to gain some altitude, a demon put himself in the way; he was charging up his aura in the way Forren often would, meaning he was most likely to have a sudden burst of speed forward.
I applied my ability to my whole body and allowed that demon to pass through me as I was still moving up from the residual momentum. After he passed through, he began spinning, trying to once again land another blow on me using his whip-like aura extension. He fused all the aura tendrils into six main bands, located on the sides of his arms and on each leg.
