My whole body was in pain, and my eyes refused to open up again. The only thing keeping me awake was the pain of the most recent Valis's attack. She most likely had cracked some of my ribs, and now I was finding it hard to get back up.
"That damned girl, she really didn't hold back this time; my fucking side now hurts like... I should've been more careful." I said this as I started to slowly lift my body using my aura. I was trying to get my body to stand by my legs and had no strength left in them.
Over half of my mana was gone, so I decided to be a little more conservative about it. I let out a small droplet and quickly made it expand as much as I possibly could, allowing it to multiply by eating the surrounding mana.
