Even though the girl was guiding us towards the kitchen, I couldn't help but feel suspicious about her. Her sudden change of character when she talked to my brother felt forced, as if she were putting up an act, so I remained on high alert. She made us sneak inside the kitchen, walking past the many terrorized inhabitants of that giant ship.
But just as I was about to take a breath of relief, she suddenly locked the door behind us and made large metal plates appear all around the door to block it from all sides. My brother was also alarmed by that strange move but didn't do or ask anything of her; he simply remained silent, watching all of her moves from a safe distance.
