Half an hour later, I decided to start cooking everyone's breakfast. I wanted something simple and fast to make, so I cooked some bacon; I tried to make scrambled eggs, but I overcooked them; I added canned tuna; and I added some peas to make everything a bit healthier.
When I finished cooking the breakfast, everyone was waiting, ready to get their meal. Even Diego was ready with his plate on his hands, drooling from his mouth, and with his eyes barely open. I served him first, then Valis, and lastly Tsuitame. Diego then took out a loaf of bread cut in half and made a sandwich, stuffing the breakfast in between the two loaves of bread.
"Where are the others?" Valis asked while eating her breakfast.
"Yesterday, they asked permission to venture on to the next stage on their own, so that's where they most likely went." Diego answered without batting an eye.
"What? When—why did they decide to go without us?" Valis asked furiously.
