POV Gale
I was constantly on edge, checking every damn corner of the building, every road, and every window, constantly in panic as my senses were telling me that something big was chasing me. Something extremely dangerous, so much so that no matter how much I tried wrapping my brain around it, there was no escape. It was already too late.
Then I caught a glimpse of something moving in the distance. I had no time to tell the others what was happening; otherwise, I would've lost sight of the target. Anxiety and frustration started to fill my mind, as every other scenario would have resulted in the target getting away. A split second that took forever to pass by.
