POV Gale
All the new recruits that had somehow passed the simulation test were grouped into six groups; five of them had only roughly a hundred men, and the sixth instead had over seven times that amount. The results depended on the aptitude test, physical test, written test, and a bunch of other physical examinations.
They were almost all child soldiers who managed to get lucky enough to avoid dying of starvation on the streets and were now offering themselves to become assassins, or soldiers, in exchange for food. Of course, not all of them came here willingly, but sometimes you have to turn a blind eye to the ugly truth if you want to keep your neck intact.
"So? Do you see anything promising? Is there someone special like you among those children?" She asked me Daniel while I was preparing myself a cigarette.
"I wouldn't be standing here if that were the case." I responded as I finished making the cigarette.
