When I woke up, instead of opening my eyes to the beautiful gardens of heaven, all I saw was a cold, metallic environment. I had lost all the sensitivity in my body, and all I could hear was a loud siren going off only in my right ear.
A robotic voice then started a countdown from twelve, and right about when it approached the number three, it stopped. Various voices began repeating "Recalibrating!".
'Where am I?' I asked myself while trying to move my body, but it all felt incredibly stiff.
No matter how many times I tried to blink, I couldn't see anything but the same sort of red window with "Error!" written in it flashing right before my eyes. So I decided to put even more focus on my senses and realize that my nose couldn't smell anything, I couldn't feel the temperature of my surroundings, and I couldn't move my mouth or breathe, but somehow I felt perfectly fine.
'Wait, how did I end up here? I was, what was I doing?'
