He was wise in trying to stab his feet, but he got too cocky and forgot to think of the nuances his impermeable ability grants him. For once, he can bend in extremely unnatural ways, such as folding his body in extremely unnatural ways, such as turning around his neck in a 180° angle, or his torso, or bending his back in ways humans simply can't, by choosing which parts will become impermeable and which will not.
