I barely had enough time to heal my broken bones when I was attacked once more by the dying snake. In one last desperate attack, it made its weird tail explode, and with its weird magic, each fragment chased me at over the speed of sound.
'This damned thing, even in his last breath, still won't give up. YOU'VE ALREADY LOST!GO AND BITE THE DUST IN SILENCE, YOU FUCKING MONSTER!'
As soon as the projectiles came close enough, I tried to evade them by diving down while also covering my whole body with the wings in order to protect my vitals. I managed to evade some of them, while some others managed to graze the wings or even manage to land direct hits.
